NCSF Celebrates Life Insurance Awareness Month

Mount Prospect, Illinois (SEPTEMBER 4, 2020): National Catholic Society of Foresters (NCSF) proudly supports Life Insurance Awareness Month (LIAM), an annual event sponsored by LIFE Happens each September. LIAM educates Americans on the important role life insurance plays in policyholders’ lives and the lives of their beneficiaries.
Throughout September, NCSF will share engaging quotes, images, and stories on our social media channels that inspire taking that first step into financial fitness with life insurance.
When you consider how important life insurance is to an individual’s overall financial fitness, it’s clear that many people have not yet truly embarked on this part of their financial journey. According to the 2020 Insurance Barometer Study, by Life Happens and LIMRA The “need-gap” for life insurance grew to 16 percent, which suggests there are 41 million consumers who say they need life coverage, but do not have it.
This year Brooke Shields returns as the LIFE Happens spokesperson for LIAM. Regardless of the paths her life has taken or the roles she’s held, Brooke has been steadfast in her commitment to living a healthy lifestyle and sharing positive habits and behaviors – in which finances are a crucial part.
The Core Strength of a Financial Plan
